Well we have had another exciting week. Nothing to do with the weather this time…but mainly with Gavin. Two Thursdays ago, Gavin started running a fever of 102F. We would give him Tylenol and it would go down and come back up. By Friday evening (actually Saturday morning at 2am) his temperature was up to 104, so we took him to Childrens Medical Center. Ended up that he had an ear infection, so the doc prescribed Amoxicillan. After one day of taking the drug he was starting to feel better. He slept rather well with the Tylenol, only waking up around 4am each day.  However that Monday, he broke out in a rash and was REALLY itchy! Steph took him to the pediatrician who told her he is allergic to Ammoxicillan…great! :( So we spent the next few days giving him Benadryl and Oatmeal baths, which really seemed to help! His rash is all gone now thankfully! He has retained the “wake up a 4am routine” this week which has been very annoying, but hopefully we can break him of that soon. Mommy and Daddy need thier sleep!

Since then, Gavin is crawling everywhere and has learned to climb up and down stairs. Its SO cute to watch! He is getting very good at going up, but is still a little nervous about going down. Wont be long until he starts walking, if he can ever get over the fear of walking on his own.

Now for some exciting news! For all of those Aunt, Uncles, Cousins and Grandparents of Gavin…dust off your family skills, because Steph and I are having ANOTHER ONE! Yes, you heard (read) it right, Stephanie is pregnant AGAIN! Rewind to last Sunday when we were up at 4am with a screaming baby boy: Stephanie goes in to console and change Gavin and starts SCREAMING at the top of her lungs for me to get in there. I am thinking something is MAJORLY wrong with Gavin so I run in and Steph is lying on the floor with Gavin standing over her. Gavin looks fine, but Steph doesn’t. She tells me to take Gavin and get his temperature…”but what about you?” I ask. She says “im fine” and crawls into our bedroom. Later that evening, I Steph wakes me up again and shoves a preggo test in my face…positive. She went in to the OB/GYN who thinks she is about 5 weeks along, but due to her last period it could be up to 10 weeks. She has an ultrasound on the 22nd to find out for sure!
